A full-time opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to provide telehealth services within a school setting. This role supports students through psychological assessment, intervention, and consultation, contributing to their academic and social-emotional development.
Location:
- Based in Gretna, LA, serving schools in the New Orleans area.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments.
- Deliver telehealth counseling and support services to students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Active Louisiana Department of Education certification.
- Valid psychologist license in the state of residence.
- Experience with telehealth delivery of psychological services.
- Ability to complete mandatory drug screening and fingerprinting for district credentialing.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Schedule and Duration:
- Full-time position (35 hours per week), Monday through Friday.
- Work hours typically 7 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
- Contract period from August 3, 2026, through May 27, 2027.
- Caseload and number of schools assigned will be determined.
