Virtual Audiologist (1099) – California

Location: Remote (California)
Position Type: Full-Time | 1099 Independent Contractor
Pay: $65–$70/hour

We're seeking a licensed Audiologist to provide remote audiology services to K-12 students throughout the upcoming school year. Position Details

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Fully remote (work from home)
  • 1099 independent contractor
  • Full school-year assignment
  • Competitive hourly pay: $65–$70/hour
  • Dedicated clinical and technical support provided

Responsibilities

  • Conduct virtual audiological evaluations and assessments
  • Interpret test results and provide recommendations
  • Collaborate with school teams, parents, and related service providers
  • Participate in IEP meetings as needed
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation
  • Ensure compliance with California and federal special education guidelines

Qualifications

  • Active California Audiologist license
  • Master's or Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D. preferred)
  • Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
  • Comfortable providing services via teletherapy platforms
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Reliable high-speed internet and appropriate home office setup
