Virtual School Psychologist | Delaware

Providing specialized telehealth psychological services within a diverse school district, this contract position involves supporting students across multiple educational settings, including preschool, elementary, middle, high school, and special education environments. The focus centers on delivering teletherapy and telehealth interventions, encompassing assessments and individualized support aligned with a continuum of special education services. Candidates should be prepared to engage primarily at a single site, with occasional assignments split between elementary locations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting psychological assessments with an emphasis on telehealth delivery methods
• Providing teletherapy to students with diverse needs across various grade levels
• Collaborating with special education coordinators and school psychologists to implement appropriate interventions and supports
• Participating in paid professional development days as part of ongoing skill enhancement
• Adapting services to accommodate testing-heavy assignments, particularly at the elementary level

Preferred qualifications and experience:

• Credentials as a school psychologist with current or pending licensure eligible for transfer to Delaware
• Experience with teletherapy and telehealth platforms in educational settings
• Ability to navigate a large district environment serving a wide range of student needs, from early childhood through diploma-alternate achievement programs
• Flexibility for a full-time commitment of 37.5 hours per week, with a contract extending through June
