Remote School Psychologist | Virginia

Providing psychological services through telehealth to K-12 students, this role focuses primarily on conducting evaluations while supporting a diverse caseload across all grade levels. Working 2-3 days per week initially, this contract position may transition to full-time hours depending on needs, offering flexibility and the opportunity to engage with a range of student populations.

Location: Palmyra, VA (virtual service delivery)

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations for students K-12, with a particular emphasis on understanding developmental, emotional, and cognitive needs
• Collaborating virtually with preschoolers and their families, utilizing telehealth best practices to complete assessments remotely
• Participating in multidisciplinary planning meetings to share findings and contribute to intervention strategies
• Maintaining detailed, accurate documentation and adhering to state and federal guidelines related to educational assessments and telehealth service delivery

Qualifications sought:

• Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience delivering telehealth psychological services, preferably with preschool-aged children
• Proficiency in conducting educational and psychological evaluations across the K-12 spectrum
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage effectively with children and families in a virtual environment
• Availability beginning immediately, with services to continue through May 29th

Commitment: Contract duration throughout the current school year, with variable hours starting at 2-3 days per week
