This contract role offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week through June 10th, including professional development days. The position primarily serves students across multiple grade levels in an inclusive setting that spans preschool through high school, with a focus on special education services from mild to intensive needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting teletherapy and telehealth assessments and interventions as part of a multidisciplinary approach
- Delivering psychological testing, particularly in elementary settings where testing demands are higher
- Collaborating with special education coordinators and school teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Supporting students across varied sites, typically at one location but with occasional assignments splitting time between elementary schools
- Participating in professional development activities paid by the district
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Valid school psychology license or eligibility to transfer license to Delaware, with HR support available for license transfer and pending licensure cases
- Expertise in teletherapy and telehealth delivery methods specific to school psychology services
