A contracted School Psychologist skilled in telehealth and teletherapy is needed to support a diverse and dynamic school district in Wilmington, DE. This role contributes vital psychological services across a comprehensive educational spectrum, including preschool, elementary, middle, high school, and specialized settings for students with unique medical and educational needs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting psychological assessments, with an emphasis on testing within elementary settings.
  • Delivering teletherapy and telehealth services to meet students’ diverse needs.
  • Collaborating closely with school staff and special education coordinators across multiple grade levels.
  • Supporting a full workload equivalent to 37.5 hours per week from the start date through June 10th, including paid professional development days.
  • Adapting to a flexible schedule that may require coverage at one or multiple school sites on occasion.

Qualifications and experience sought:

  • Valid school psychologist certification; candidates with pending licenses are encouraged to apply, with HR support available for license transfer to Delaware.
  • Strong skills in teletherapy and telehealth services for educational environments.
  • Experience working within a large district serving a range of student populations, including special education.
  • Comfort with a collaborative approach across multiple school psychologists and support personnel.
