Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist license (please verify and be prepared to provide credentials)
- Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred
- Passion for supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to collaborate closely with educators, families, and fellow specialists
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for K–12 students
- Provide direct counseling, intervention, and crisis support as needed
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and related services
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to optimize students’ learning environments
- Support data-driven decision making and contribute to multi-disciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in alignment with regulatory requirements
