Exciting contract opportunities are available for experienced School Psychologists to provide comprehensive psychological services in a supportive educational setting for the 2026-2027 academic year. This position requires on-site presence and offers the chance to work directly with K–12 students, responding to the evolving needs of the local school community.

You’ll play a vital role in assessing and supporting students to maximize their academic and personal success while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Assignments may be itinerant, depending on testing needs, with specific school locations to be determined as the start date approaches.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active School Psychologist license in the state of Alabama (must present images of licensure upon request)
  • Prior experience providing school psychological services to K–12 students is highly valued
  • Ability to adapt and provide support across varying school sites as assigned
  • Strong testing, assessment, and report-writing skills required
  • Committed to maintaining professional standards and ethical guidelines in all interactions

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments for students across all grade levels as needed
  • Interpret assessment results and provide actionable recommendations
  • Collaborate with educational staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop intervention strategies and support plans
  • Document services and maintain accurate, compliant records
  • Participate in IEP meetings and recommend supports based on student data

Contract Details:

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week, starting October 1, 2026, through May 26, 2027
  • Potential for contract renewal based on performance and district needs
  • Interview slots available beginning August 26, 2026 (with a brief pause from August 31 to September 4)
