School Psychologist - Theodore, Alabama

Seeking experienced School Psychometrists for a full-time, on-site contract opportunity serving K-12 students across the Mobile, AL area. This assignment runs from October 1, 2026, through May 26, 2027, with the potential to renew for extended school year and next school year based on performance. You’ll collaborate across various school sites (locations to be confirmed closer to the start date) and may work itinerantly, depending on the district’s assessment needs.

Ideal candidates should bring strong skills in conducting psychological and educational evaluations, interpreting assessment data, and collaborating with educators and families to support student success. This position is exclusively on-site—remote or virtual roles are not available.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in School Psychometry or related field
• Valid professional license as a School Psychometrist—be prepared to provide documentation
• Experience working with K-12 students and administering cognitive, academic, behavioral, and/or social-emotional assessments
• Ability to travel between school sites as needed
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative, compassionate approach
• Commitment for the full contract term (October 1, 2026 – May 26, 2027)
• Availability for on-site interviews prior to being selected

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and score a variety of standardized tests for students in grades K-12
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to interpret findings and make recommendations
• Prepare detailed and timely assessment reports
• Support the Response-to-Intervention (RTI) and eligibility determination processes
• Engage with students and staff across assignments, adapting to a dynamic public school environment
