School Psychologist in Theodore, AL

Shape the future of student success by supporting K–12 learners in a dynamic educational environment as a vital member of our school psychology team. We are seeking experienced School Psychometrists to provide valuable psychological assessment and support services across multiple campuses in the Mobile, Alabama area. This contract position runs from October 1, 2026, through May 26, 2027, with potential for extension based on performance.

Your on-site expertise will help inform educational planning and guide students on a path toward academic and social-emotional growth. You’ll collaborate closely with educators, counselors, and families within a diverse district setting.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in School Psychometry or closely related field
• Current professional license as a School Psychometrist (documentation required)
• Experience conducting psychological and educational assessments with K–12 students
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with staff, students, and families
• Ability to work an itinerant schedule as needed for comprehensive testing

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct a variety of psychoeducational evaluations and assessments across K–12 grade levels
• Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations for educational programming
• Support school teams in the development of individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Ensure timely, confidential, and precise documentation and reporting
• Travel to multiple school sites as needed depending on caseload and assessment requirements

Additional Details:

• This is a full-time, 40-hour/week contracted position
• Only on-site candidates will be considered (remote work is not available)
• Interviews are on-site only starting 8/26/2026 (not available 8/31–9/4, resume thereafter)
• Caseload and school assignments will be determined as the start date approaches
• Performance may lead to contract renewal for extended school year (ESY) or next school year (NSY)
