Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current certification or license as a School Psychologist
  • Graduate degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Strong background in conducting psychological evaluations and assessments for K-12 students
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with staff, students, and families
  • Ability to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
  • Experience working onsite in a school setting is required

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students in K-12, interpreting results to inform educational planning and support
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide professional recommendations based on assessment findings to address students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
  • Maintain thorough documentation of assessments and student progress
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure the best outcomes for all students
  • Serve as a resource for school staff regarding student mental health, learning disabilities, and behavioral interventions
  • Support a positive learning environment through ongoing consultation and crisis intervention when needed
