School Psych - Tomball, Texas

Key Qualifications:

• Hold a valid license or certification as a School Psychologist
• Demonstrated experience working within K-12 school settings
• Strong understanding of student assessment, intervention, and special education processes
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in school psychology
• Comfortable with both individual and group counseling, along with crisis intervention

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for eligibility determination and intervention planning
• Develop and support individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with identified needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address student concerns and recommend evidence-based intervention strategies
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families to promote positive behavior and mental wellness
• Provide crisis intervention and counseling as needed for students facing challenges
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
