This on-site role is critical in fostering students’ academic, social, and emotional growth within a dynamic educational environment. The assignment spans from August 31, 2026, through June 17, 2027, offering 37.5 hours each week—an ideal schedule for professionals who thrive on consistency and meaningful engagement.

Your expertise will support a local community, helping evaluate student needs, collaborating with educational staff, and contributing to the development of individualized interventions. Although specific schools, caseloads, and student age groups will be determined, you will play an essential part in creating supportive and inclusive learning environments.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology required
  • Valid state certification/licensure to practice as a School Psychologist in Maryland
  • Previous experience in K-12 settings preferred
  • Familiarity with multi-tiered systems of support and evidence-based assessment tools
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Capacity to adapt in a fast-paced school environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
  • Develop, implement, and review individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention as needed
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain documentation and confidential student records in alignment with district guidelines
  • Adhere to all district credentialing and background check requirements, including House Bill 486
