School Psychologist in Towson, MD

This contract opportunity begins August 31, 2026 and extends through June 17, 2027, offering a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week during the school year. What You’ll Need:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
• Valid state certification/license to practice as a School Psychologist
• Ability to complete district-specific credentialing, including background check, fingerprinting, and compliance with House Bill 486
• Experience working with school-aged children, ideally in a diverse educational setting
• Strong communication, assessment, and counseling skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to promote student success
• Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and social-emotional support
• Maintain timely and accurate student records in compliance with all regulations
• Contribute to multidisciplinary teams focused on early intervention and special education
