Key Qualifications:

• Active Maryland School Psychologist certification required
• Strong background in school psychology practices and principles
• Proficiency in conducting assessments, providing counseling, and developing intervention strategies

• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to assess student needs and promote academic success
• Provide individual and group counseling for students, addressing emotional, behavioral, and learning challenges
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans
• Consult with school staff regarding strategies to support positive learning environments
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with state and federal special education requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and offer expertise on eligibility and program development
