Desired Skills and Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or license in California (or eligibility for licensure)
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments, behavioral interventions, and counseling for diverse student populations
- Knowledge of RTI/MTSS, special education processes, and IEP development
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to new settings and build rapport quickly with students, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for academic, behavioral, or social-emotional support
- Develop and assist with implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct counseling, consultation, and intervention services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Assist with crisis intervention and provide staff training as needed
- Document and report on student progress, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to professional ethical standards
