What we're seeking:
- Valid School Psychologist certification and relevant state licensure
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and intervention strategies
- Experience conducting evaluations, including cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments
- Ability to contribute to IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Compassionate, student-driven approach to mental health
- Prior experience in school settings is highly valued
Key responsibilities:
- Perform psychoeducational assessments and interpret data to guide interventions
- Consult with teachers and staff on student needs, behavioral supports, and best practices
- Deliver short-term counseling, crisis response, and social-emotional interventions to students
- Guide the development and implementation of IEPs and behavior plans
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Foster strong partnerships with families and caregivers to support student success
