Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification or license in California (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments, behavioral interventions, and counseling for diverse student populations
  • Knowledge of RTI/MTSS, special education processes, and IEP development
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to new settings and build rapport quickly with students, staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for academic, behavioral, or social-emotional support
  • Develop and assist with implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Provide direct counseling, consultation, and intervention services to students
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Assist with crisis intervention and provide staff training as needed
  • Document and report on student progress, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to professional ethical standards
