School Psychologist – Full-Time | High School Caseload | 2026–2027 School Year

Location: Troutdale, Oregon

A full-time School Psychologist opportunity is available in Troutdale, Oregon for the 2026–2027 school year. This position offers the opportunity to work with a primarily high school caseload, partnering with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' academic achievement, social-emotional development, and behavioral success. The ideal candidate is committed to providing comprehensive psychological services while helping students prepare for successful transitions beyond high school.

Caseload

  • Primary assignment supporting high school students (grades 9–12).
  • Responsibilities include completing psychoeducational evaluations, participating in eligibility and IEP meetings, providing consultation to school staff, and supporting students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
  • Collaborate closely with special education teams, administrators, counselors, and families to develop individualized supports that promote student success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for academic, behavioral, emotional, or learning concerns.
  • Interpret assessment data and communicate findings to families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Develop recommendations and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), behavior intervention plans, and Section 504 accommodations.
  • Consult with teachers and staff to implement evidence-based interventions and classroom supports.
  • Participate in MTSS and RTI initiatives to identify and address student needs early.
  • Provide short-term counseling, behavioral consultation, and crisis intervention as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations.

Qualifications

  • Master's, Educational Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Oregon School Psychologist license or eligibility to obtain licensure before the start of the assignment.
  • Experience administering psychoeducational assessments and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and special education procedures.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience supporting a secondary or high school caseload.
  • Familiarity with transition planning, graduation pathways, and post-secondary readiness.
  • Experience using electronic special education documentation and data management systems.
