Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Prior experience in K-12 settings preferred, especially at the elementary and/or middle school levels
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling abilities
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, partnering effectively with educators and families
  • Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs, and conducting psychoeducational evaluations
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in daily practices

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic evaluations
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop student support plans
  • Deliver individual and group counseling sessions addressing academic, behavioral, and emotional concerns
  • Consult with staff on interventions, positive behavioral supports, and crisis management
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility determinations and educational planning
  • Promote student well-being and contribute to a positive school climate across assigned buildings
