Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Prior experience in K-12 settings preferred, especially at the elementary and/or middle school levels
- Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, partnering effectively with educators and families
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs, and conducting psychoeducational evaluations
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in daily practices
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic evaluations
- Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop student support plans
- Deliver individual and group counseling sessions addressing academic, behavioral, and emotional concerns
- Consult with staff on interventions, positive behavioral supports, and crisis management
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility determinations and educational planning
- Promote student well-being and contribute to a positive school climate across assigned buildings
