We are seeking a skilled School Psychologist for a contract position supporting children in an engaging educational environment. This onsite opportunity offers flexible part-time hours, with the option to work 20-30 hours per week across several elementary or middle school locations.
What You’ll Bring:
- Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (State credentials required)
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology, Psychology, or a closely related field
- Experience with psychoeducational assessment, intervention planning, and progress monitoring
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and administrators
- Familiarity with Response to Intervention (RTI) and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
- A passion for helping students thrive both academically and emotionally
Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs of students
- Design, implement, and monitor individualized support plans and interventions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide consultation and resources to teachers and families to foster a supportive school environment
- Support crisis intervention and prevention programs as needed
- Engage with multiple school buildings (elementary or middle school) on-site, providing valuable expertise and guidance
