Qualifications:

  • Valid, active Alabama School Psychologist license required
  • Experience conducting comprehensive student assessments and delivering compensatory services in a K-12 educational setting
  • Proficiency in developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and consultation skills for working with students, families, and school teams
  • Commitment to in-person service; virtual and remote work are not available for this position

Responsibilities:

  • Provide compensatory psychological services according to student IEPs
  • Administer and interpret psychological assessments as needed
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to design effective intervention strategies
  • Participate in eligibility meetings and contribute to educational planning
  • Document services and progress according to local and state guidelines
