This is an onsite, full-time contract position working directly with young learners. You'll collaborate with educational teams to help foster student growth, well-being, and academic success.

Your expertise will be central to developing and implementing individualized strategies, assessments, and interventions that empower students as they thrive throughout the school year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid California School Psychologist License (required)
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and writing clear, comprehensive reports
  • Strong understanding of child development and best practices in elementary school settings
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to develop and implement intervention and support plans tailored to individual student needs

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect support to elementary-aged students, addressing academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Conduct assessments for special education eligibility, including observations, data analysis, and report writing
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary and IEP meetings, sharing insights and recommendations
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to design effective interventions and support systems
  • Promote positive school climate and provide crisis intervention as needed
