Key Qualifications:
- Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for Texas certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience in school settings strongly preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Ability to provide both direct and indirect services to students, teachers, and families
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Comfort working across multiple buildings and adapting to varying school cultures
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments and interpret results for multidisciplinary teams
- Provide individual and group counseling to students with behavioral, emotional, or academic challenges
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective interventions and support plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and help shape educational programs tailored to student needs
- Offer crisis intervention as required and promote positive behavioral supports throughout the school community
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations
- Contribute expertise across multiple school buildings and foster strong professional relationships
