Desired Qualifications and Experience
- Valid State School Psychologist certification
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology
- Experience conducting psychological and behavioral evaluations in school settings
- Proficiency with IEP development, BIP creation, and progress monitoring
- Familiarity with best practices for supporting students across PreK-12 grade levels
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and external partners
- Detail-oriented, flexible, and committed to supporting educational goals
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and interpret assessments to identify students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs and functional BIPs
- Provide recommendations and interventions that promote positive outcomes for students
- Monitor student progress, adjusting strategies and supports as needed
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to ensure cohesive, student-centered approaches
- Participate in school meetings and provide professional insights regarding student achievement and well-being
