Key qualifications:
- Hold a valid School Psychologist license or certification as required by the state
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a closely related field

- Strong communication, consultation, and interpersonal skills

Primary responsibilities:
- Conduct psycho-educational assessments to identify student needs and inform individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement intervention strategies
- Deliver direct counseling services and support students’ social, emotional, and academic development
- Serve as a resource to teachers and families, offering guidance in classroom management and referral procedures
- Participate in staffing meetings, IEP meetings, and school-wide initiatives to foster a positive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with special education laws and policies
