Key qualifications:

Primary responsibilities:

  • Conduct psycho-educational assessments to identify student needs and inform individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement intervention strategies
  • Deliver direct counseling services and support students’ social, emotional, and academic development
  • Serve as a resource to teachers and families, offering guidance in classroom management and referral procedures
  • Participate in staffing meetings, IEP meetings, and school-wide initiatives to foster a positive learning environment
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with special education laws and policies
