Key Qualifications:

• Current ALSDE certification for psychometry is required
• Experience with the principles and practices of school psychology or psychometry
• Proven ability to administer formal educational and psychological assessments efficiently
• Strong interpretive skills to turn test results into actionable insights for individual education plans (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with educators, administrators, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Travel between schools in the district to provide comprehensive assessment services as needed
• Administer standardized psychological and educational evaluations to students referred for special education consideration
• Compile and analyze test scores, preparing clear and insightful reports to present to IEP teams
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to communicate findings and support the development of effective educational strategies
• Attend and participate in special education meetings, contributing key data and professional perspectives on student needs
