Step into a rewarding role as a School Psychologist supporting a small K-12 district on a contract basis at 0.5 FTE. This unique position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across all grade levels, working closely with students, families, and staff to foster educational and emotional well-being in an inclusive, community-focused environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students in grades K-12
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and intervention strategies
  • Consult with staff to deliver preventative and responsive services supporting student success
  • Provide short-term counseling to students experiencing academic, behavioral, or social-emotional challenges
  • Support crisis intervention, collaborate on school-wide initiatives, and promote safe learning environments
  • Maintain accurate documentation aligned with all district, state, and federal regulations

Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification/license required
  • Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology
  • Previous experience in a K-12 setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to manage a flexible caseload in a small district environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and a proactive, solution-focused mindset
