Step into a rewarding role as a School Psychologist supporting a small K-12 district on a contract basis at 0.5 FTE. Responsibilities include:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students in grades K-12
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and intervention strategies
- Consult with staff to deliver preventative and responsive services supporting student success
- Provide short-term counseling to students experiencing academic, behavioral, or social-emotional challenges
- Support crisis intervention, collaborate on school-wide initiatives, and promote safe learning environments
- Maintain accurate documentation aligned with all district, state, and federal regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/license required
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology
- Previous experience in a K-12 setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families
- Ability to manage a flexible caseload in a small district environment
- Excellent organizational skills and a proactive, solution-focused mindset
