Step into a rewarding role supporting secondary and junior high students as a contracted School Psychologist. In this position, you'll play an essential part in fostering student well-being and academic success through meaningful collaboration and skilled guidance.

Key qualifications include:

  • Active Ohio School Psychologist certification (required)
  • Experience working within school settings, particularly at the junior high or secondary level
  • Proficiency conducting re-evaluations and contributing to comprehensive assessment processes
  • Strong communication skills for effective participation in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and write clear, detailed evaluation reports
  • Dedication to student advocacy and partnership with educators, families, and support staff

Primary responsibilities:

  • Lead and assist with student re-evaluations, ensuring accurate assessments to support learning needs
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as a valued team member
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop strategies and supports for students
  • Manage caseloads, maintain documentation, and communicate clearly with all stakeholders
  • Produce professional reports highlighting insights, recommendations, and pathways for student growth and success
