Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology required
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement required
- Experience working with early childhood and school-aged students preferred
- Strong knowledge of psychoeducational evaluations, special education eligibility, and IEP processes
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Pay: $45+ per hour, based on experience
Position Details
- Full-time onsite position for the 2026–2027 school year
- Split assignment between an early childhood program and a district evaluation role
- Provide play-based assessments for early childhood students
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations for the district
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Ready to interview ASAP
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct play-based assessments for early childhood students
- Complete psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations
- Interpret assessment data and prepare comprehensive evaluation reports
- Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation
