Qualifications

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology required
  • Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement required
  • Experience working with early childhood and school-aged students preferred
  • Strong knowledge of psychoeducational evaluations, special education eligibility, and IEP processes
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Pay: $45+ per hour, based on experience

Position Details

  • Full-time onsite position for the 2026–2027 school year
  • Split assignment between an early childhood program and a district evaluation role
  • Provide play-based assessments for early childhood students
  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations for the district
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Ready to interview ASAP

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct play-based assessments for early childhood students
  • Complete psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations
  • Interpret assessment data and prepare comprehensive evaluation reports
  • Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families
  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation
