This full-time contract role runs during school hours, generally 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with some flexibility depending on the campus assignment. As a School Psychologist, you’ll have the unique opportunity to shape your caseload depending on your experience and preference, ensuring you make the most meaningful difference possible while prioritizing your strengths.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience with comprehensive psychoeducational assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention in school settings
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Dedication to fostering student growth and supporting positive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to inform educational programming and student support plans
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to promote best practices for student wellness and achievement
- Provide direct counseling and behavioral support to students individually and in groups
- Offer crisis intervention and support as needed
- Contribute to Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) processes
