School Psychologist in Vero Beach, FL

This is a full-time position with hours typically from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, depending on school site assignments. Qualifications:

• Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Current Florida Department of Education certification (or eligibility) as a School Psychologist
• Previous experience in educational or school-based settings is highly desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators
• Strong commitment to supporting the academic and social-emotional growth of students

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students
• Consult with teachers and families to implement effective support strategies
• Contribute to problem-solving teams and Response to Intervention (RTI) processes
• Participate in eligibility determination meetings and other relevant school functions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements
