A full-time School Psychologist opportunity is available in Southeast Florida, supporting multiple campuses including Ft. Pierce, Westwood Pre-K, and Northport K8. This contract role requires working onsite 35 hours per week from the start date ASAP through June 2, 2026. The position involves comprehensive psychological services to students across these settings, including assessments, counseling, and participation in meetings.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and testing for students ranging from pre-kindergarten through elementary levels.
- Provide counseling services to support student social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop individualized plans and intervention strategies.
- Attend meetings related to student progress, special education services, and multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district and state regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Florida Department of Health Psychologist licensure is required.
- Minimum of 0 to 2 years of experience in a school psychology setting; experience levels up to 10+ years are considered with commensurate pay adjustments.
- Familiarity with psychological assessment tools, counseling techniques, and educational legislation.
- Ability to manage caseloads and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
- Fingerprint clearance is a credentialing requirement; prints may be obtained through DOH records in some cases.

- This role is onsite in the Southeast Florida coastal region, serving three designated schools within the district.
