As an itinerant School Psychologist, you'll provide comprehensive psychological services across multiple school locations, ensuring students receive the specialized support they need. Your expertise in conducting evaluations and tailoring interventions will be valued and respected as you make meaningful contributions to each campus community.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Michigan School Psychologist certification is required
  • Prior experience working with K-12 populations preferred
  • Expertise in conducting psychological and educational assessments
  • Strong knowledge of special education processes and best practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to travel between school sites (itinerant role)
  • Compassionate, student-focused approach

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Administer, score, and interpret psychoeducational assessments for students in grades K-12
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and related service professionals to develop effective intervention strategies
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to support Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
  • Conduct risk and behavioral assessments as needed
  • Provide crisis intervention and response as required
  • Consult with staff to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

Eligible candidates for this opportunity will receive hourly compensation ranging from $55 to $58, based on experience. Additional benefits include the possibility of healthcare coverage, as well as housing and meals/incidentals to support your contract assignment.
