Key Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan School Psychologist certification required
• Experience in conducting comprehensive assessments and writing clear, actionable reports
• Strong ability to interpret assessment data and communicate results to diverse audiences
• Previous involvement in Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) teams preferred
• Excellent skills in consultation and collaboration with administration, teachers, and parents
• Flexibility for itinerant assignments within elementary school settings

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial and re-evaluations for elementary school students
• Serve as an integral member of building support teams to address student needs
• Participate actively on MTSS and RTI teams, offering insights and guidance for interventions
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop strategies that enhance student learning and well-being
• Synthesize evaluation findings and prepare thorough, professional reports
• Travel between assigned schools as needed to provide comprehensive support
