This full-time contract opportunity seeks a skilled School Psychologist to support student success within a dynamic school environment in Virginia Beach, VA, from August 11, 2025, through June 5, 2026. Working Monday through Friday, you will play a vital role in assessing and addressing the psychological needs of students to foster a positive and productive learning atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify students' learning and emotional needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention to support student well-being.
  • Monitor student progress and recommend appropriate interventions.
  • Ensure compliance with local and state regulations related to school psychology services.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a Virginia Teaching License with an endorsement in School Psychology.
  • Experience working within school settings, preferably in K-12 education.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to manage caseloads efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
