School Psychologist in Virginia Beach, VA

A dynamic opportunity awaits skilled School Psychologists to support elementary students in the Virginia Beach area on a contract basis. This role is designed for passionate professionals eager to make a positive impact during the school day from 8am-4pm, with both full-time and part-time schedules considered. The position will commence as soon as possible and continue through June 16, 2026. You’ll work onsite, as virtual and hybrid arrangements are not available for this assignment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Valid State Licensure as a School Psychologist
• Active DOE Certification
• Open to new graduates as well as experienced professionals
• Previous school-based experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for elementary-aged students
• Participate fully in ARD, re-evaluation, and IEP meetings to support student success
• Collaborate with educational teams to develop and implement student support strategies
• Adjust to varying caseloads and school assignments as determined by district needs
