School Psychologist | Voluntown, Connecticut

Step into a vital role supporting PreK-8th grade students as a School Psychologist for the upcoming academic year. This contract position provides the opportunity to work closely with a dynamic school team, delivering essential psychological services to foster student success and well-being. The assignment runs from August 26th through June 10th, working 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday (9AM–3PM).

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individualized and group counseling to support students’ academic, emotional, and social needs.
• Perform assessments, including psychoeducational testing, to guide educational planning and intervention.
• Develop, write, and update IEPs in collaboration with teachers, staff, and families.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute expertise to the development of effective educational strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in School Psychology.
• Active 070 School Psychology Licensure.
• Previous experience working with PreK-8th grade students preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in counseling, testing, and development of student plans.
