As a school psychologist working Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 3 PM, you will dedicate 30 hours each week to making a positive difference in the lives of children. Your responsibilities encompass a variety of essential duties, such as conducting student counseling, administering assessments, and contributing to the development and writing of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Working with a diverse PreK-8th grade caseload, your expertise in school psychology will be pivotal in fostering student growth and well-being.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in School Psychology required
- Valid 070 School Psychologist licensure
- Experience with PreK-8th caseloads preferred
- Proficient in IEP writing and evaluation processes
- Skilled in conducting assessments and counseling students
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to students
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and observations
- Collaborate with faculty, families, and support staff to develop effective student interventions
- Lead IEP meetings and serve as a resource for best practices in special education
- Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with policies and regulations
