Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified School Psychologist for the 2026–2027 school year in Topeka, KS. This position primarily supports an elementary school population. While in-person candidates are preferred, a hybrid schedule (combination of in-person and virtual services) will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct student observations and comprehensive psychological evaluations
- Provide assessment and testing services for elementary-aged students
- Participate in and contribute to IEP meetings, including writing and documentation
- Complete Medicaid billing in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student success
- Assist in developing intervention strategies and recommendations
Qualifications:
- Active Kansas School Psychologist license required
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to manage a flexible and evolving caseload
Additional Details:
- Caseload size is currently being determined
- Hybrid schedule may be available depending on candidate qualifications and district needs
