Ideal Background & Skills:

  • Current licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist in North Carolina
  • Experience working with K-6th grade students strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in performing educational assessments and writing comprehensive reports
  • Strong communication and consultation skills for diverse school teams
  • Ability to develop, implement, and monitor intervention plans
  • Familiarity with special education processes and compliance requirements
  • Compassion, adaptability, and organization in fast-paced environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments
  • Interpret data and deliver clear, actionable feedback to staff and families
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop interventions
