Step into a pivotal role supporting students in a dynamic K-12 educational environment as a School Psychologist. This full-time, contract position offers the unique opportunity to work onsite with a diverse student population in a close-knit school community. With a dedicated schedule of 37.5 hours per week, you will play a key role in conducting comprehensive evaluations and psychoeducational assessments that guide student support and interventions for the 2026/2027 academic year.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in K-12 settings, preferably with a range of grade levels
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, writing detailed reports, and collaborating on intervention plans
- Strong understanding of special education laws and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with students, families, and staff
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to maintaining professional ethics and confidentiality
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer evaluations and assessments to identify students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide recommendations for classroom strategies and behavioral interventions
- Participate in student support and eligibility meetings
- Maintain accurate, confidential records of assessments and consultations
- Support a positive learning environment through evidence-based practices
