School Psychologist - Wallace, South Carolina

Step into a vital role supporting K-12 students by providing comprehensive school psychology services throughout the academic year. This contracted position involves working onsite across multiple school sites, focusing on evaluations, testing, and counseling. Your expertise will help empower students, collaborating with educators and families to ensure all learners receive the support they need.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active South Carolina School Psychology License (required)
• Experience providing psychological evaluations and counseling for K-12 students
• Strong knowledge of special education procedures and best practices
• Ability to travel between school locations as needed
• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments and develop recommendations to support student success
• Interpret test results and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
• Provide direct counseling services to individual students and groups
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement IEPs
• Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential documentation of services rendered
• Participate in crisis intervention and assist in creating a positive school climate
• Stay up to date on state and federal regulations affecting school psychological services
