Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Current state certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Strong understanding of assessment tools, IEP development, and behavioral interventions
- Ability to conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
- Knowledge of evidence-based counseling techniques for school-aged children
- Excellent communication and consultation skills working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Experience in crisis intervention and data-driven decision-making preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological and academic assessments to identify students’ needs
- Interpret assessment results and develop actionable recommendations for student success
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to create effective interventions
- Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) and IEP meetings, providing expertise on mental health and learning concerns
- Deliver counseling, consultation, and behavioral support to students individually and in groups
- Support the creation and implementation of positive behavioral support plans
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives that foster safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments
