An opportunity exists for dedicated professionals to provide vital psychological services within a K-12 educational setting. This role is focused on enhancing the well-being and academic success of students through assessment, intervention, and consultation.
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience working with K-12 students
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective interventions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
Location:
- Warren, MI
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students.
- Provide consultation services to teachers, parents, and school staff regarding students’ needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Deliver training and resources to staff on mental health and behavioral issues.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to students and families.
