Seeking a full-time, in-person school psychologist to support K-12 students at a school located in Warren, MI. This contract position spans a full semester, offering a valuable opportunity to apply your expertise in a dynamic educational setting. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing comprehensive psychological services to help students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to assess students' cognitive, behavioral, and emotional needs
  • Develop and implement individual intervention plans in collaboration with teachers, parents, and administrators
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to support student well-being
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to eligibility decisions for special education services
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with state and federal regulations

Qualifications:

  • Valid licensure or certification as a school psychologist
  • Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to special education and student services
  • Ability to work full-time, in-person for the duration of the semester
