Make a meaningful impact in a high school environment, working directly with students and staff as a School Psychologist. This onsite contract position is full-time, with the potential for a hybrid arrangement for an exceptional candidate. You’ll support a diverse student body across four high school campuses, including an alternative school, serving approximately 110-120 students with special education needs. The assignment begins as soon as possible, filling a backfill need for the remainder of the school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Demonstrated experience at the high school level, especially working with older adolescents (ages 17-18)
- Familiarity with the SPED population, including individualized education plans and behavioral interventions
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for partnering with staff, families, and students
- Ability to work onsite; hybrid may be considered for highly qualified applicants
- Commitment to supporting diverse student needs in both traditional and alternative school settings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational evaluations for special education eligibility and ongoing support
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on student intervention plans
- Provide direct support and counseling for students needing behavioral or academic assistance
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success and well-being
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation per school and state guidelines
- Adapt services and interventions to meet the unique needs of high school-aged students
