Bring your expertise as a School Psychologist to a rewarding part-time opportunity in a specialized center serving students from across the county. This contract position offers approximately 20 hours per week, with your choice to split time as half-days Monday through Friday, or as two and a half full days weekly—providing the work-life balance and flexibility valued by travel professionals and seasoned educators alike.
Working with a skilled colleague as part of a two-person team, you’ll support learners ages 3 to 26 within a center program that welcomes students eligible under MoCI (Moderately Cognitively Impaired), SCI (Severely Cognitively Impaired), and SXI (Severely Multiply Impaired). The primary focus will be on re-evaluations—allowing you to draw upon your assessment expertise in a collaborative environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification appropriate for the state
- Prior experience or familiarity with MoCI, SCI, and SXI eligibility criteria
- Confidence conducting student re-evaluations and related assessments
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience supporting a diverse student population, including ages 3–26
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead comprehensive student re-evaluations in accordance with regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate closely with another on-site school psychologist
- Work together with educators and support staff to promote student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Offer expertise in reporting and recommending next steps for eligible students
