This onsite contract opportunity calls for a School Psychologist who thrives in a collaborative, educational environment and is passionate about student advocacy.

As an integral team member, you’ll collaborate with educators and families, conduct comprehensive assessments, and help design intervention plans tailored to each learner’s individual needs. Your expertise will contribute to fostering a positive learning atmosphere and promoting mental health across the school community.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Michigan School Psychologist Certification is required.
  • Experience within a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong foundation in psychological assessment, data-driven intervention, and case management.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Collaborative approach to working with teachers, administrators, and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform psychological assessments to evaluate student learning, behavioral, and mental health needs.
  • Develop evidence-based intervention plans that target academic, behavioral, and emotional issues.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate on IEPs, 504 plans, and student success strategies.
  • Provide consultative services and support for both staff and families regarding student development.
  • Promote mental health awareness and a supportive school climate.

You’ll be scheduled for 37.5 hours per week for the entirety of the school year (specific dates to be determined), working onsite to ensure students have direct access to your services. Caseload and other specific assignments will be shared during the interview stage.
