As a valued school psychologist, you will take an active role in supporting students' social, emotional, and academic development in a collaborative learning environment. Working closely with a team of fellow psychologists, this contract opportunity focuses primarily on elementary-level evaluations while allowing for the flexibility to work with students across all school levels as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or license
- Previous experience with psychoeducational evaluations, preferably within elementary settings
- Strong understanding of evidence-based interventions and assessment tools
- Skilled in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including IEP and student study teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students at various grade levels, with a primary focus on elementary-aged children
- Collaborate with two additional school psychologists to share caseloads and responsibilities throughout the district
- Perform in-school observations and consult with educators to recommend effective, targeted interventions
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and student study teams to develop and monitor individualized plans for student success
- Provide consultative support to staff and families, helping them understand and meet each student's unique needs
