This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to support students across multiple locations, with several openings available for qualified professionals. You’ll play an essential role in promoting students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth through direct assessment, consultation, and collaboration with school teams.

Necessary Skills and Experience:

  • Active Michigan School Psychologist certification required
  • Experience conducting student observations
  • Proficient in evaluations and report writing
  • Skilled in attending and contributing to IEP meetings
  • Previous experience with Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and student populations

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Carry out comprehensive psychological assessments and FBAs
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff through classroom observations and data collection
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings to develop and monitor individualized plans
  • Consult with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Support the development and implementation of positive behavioral interventions
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with state requirements
