Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Valid and current School Psychologist certification/license in Michigan
- Experience conducting educational and psychological assessments
- Knowledge of Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI)
- Strong collaboration skills with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Exceptional organizational and communication abilities
- Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to guide educational planning
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop and implement IEPs and 504 Plans
- Offer crisis intervention and counseling for students as needed
- Provide recommendations and strategies to support positive behavioral interventions and academic achievement
- Support the district with consultation services for staff and families
- Document findings, maintain appropriate records, and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Take part in workshops, training sessions, and meetings to advance professional growth
