School Psychologist - Warren, Michigan

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
• Valid and current School Psychologist certification/license in Michigan
• Experience conducting educational and psychological assessments
• Knowledge of Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI)
• Strong collaboration skills with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Exceptional organizational and communication abilities
• Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to guide educational planning
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop and implement IEPs and 504 Plans
• Offer crisis intervention and counseling for students as needed
• Provide recommendations and strategies to support positive behavioral interventions and academic achievement
• Support the district with consultation services for staff and families
• Document findings, maintain appropriate records, and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Take part in workshops, training sessions, and meetings to advance professional growth
