Key Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification and appropriate state licensure
  • Master’s or Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Previous experience working in K-12 school environments preferred
  • Expertise conducting psychoeducational assessments, behavioral interventions, and counseling
  • Strong knowledge of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), special education processes, and related documentation
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective intervention strategies
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing your expertise to student support plans
  • Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed
  • Assist with the implementation and monitoring of behavioral and academic interventions
  • Support the evaluation and development of 504 plans and IEPs, ensuring compliance with federal and state guidelines
  • Maintain thorough, confidential documentation and timely reporting
