Qualifications & Skills:
- Must hold a current Michigan School Psychologist Certification (submit screenshot to confirm)
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- Previous experience working within a school setting, especially with diverse K-26 student needs
- Excellent communication, consultation, and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, staff, and parents
- In-person availability is ideal; candidates with exceptional virtual/VOCO experience are welcome
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for educational planning
- Provide individual and group counseling, as well as behavioral interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to design and monitor student supports
- Participate in the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver professional insights on student learning, mental health, and behavioral needs
- Help foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive educational environment district-wide
