Successful candidates will bring a passion for fostering student success, a collaborative approach, and the necessary Michigan certification in school psychology. Please be prepared to provide a screenshot demonstrating your active MI School Psychologist certification.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Must hold a current Michigan School Psychologist Certification (submit screenshot to confirm)
  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Previous experience working within a school setting, especially with diverse K-26 student needs
  • Excellent communication, consultation, and problem-solving abilities
  • Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, staff, and parents
  • In-person availability is ideal; candidates with exceptional virtual/VOCO experience are welcome

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for educational planning
  • Provide individual and group counseling, as well as behavioral interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to design and monitor student supports
  • Participate in the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver professional insights on student learning, mental health, and behavioral needs
  • Help foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive educational environment district-wide
