This role is onsite, serving either elementary students across three buildings or middle school students across two buildings. Key Qualifications:
- Licensed or credentialed School Psychologist with the ability to practice in Michigan
- Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings
- Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills
- Effective communicator with teachers, administrators, parents, and students
- Familiarity with multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and special education compliance
- Ability to manage caseloads and documentation efficiently
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret results for eligibility and program planning
- Provide consultation and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop appropriate interventions
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and help develop educational and behavioral strategies
- Offer crisis intervention, small group counseling, and direct support for students’ social-emotional learning
- Monitor the implementation of interventions and track student progress
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and maintain professional documentation
