Exciting opportunity available for experienced School Psychologists interested in making a meaningful difference in the lives of students. This contract position is based near Warren, MI, with a focus on providing on-site psychological support in either elementary or middle school settings for the upcoming school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist certification required
- Demonstrated experience supporting elementary and/or middle school students
- Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with staff, students, and families
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload across multiple buildings (3 elementary or 2 middle schools)
- Commitment to upholding student confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations using a variety of assessment methods to identify students’ strengths and areas of need
- Collaborate with educators to design and implement effective academic and behavioral interventions
- Provide consultation services to teachers and parents, offering recommendations to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans
- Deliver crisis intervention, social-emotional learning support, and counseling as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, supporting compliance with all relevant regulations
- Engage in proactive problem-solving alongside multidisciplinary teams
