Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Hold or be eligible for valid School Psychologist certification/license in the state
  • Proven experience with K-12 student populations preferred
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Understanding of special education processes and regulations
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Flexibility and openness to varying caseload needs as guided by district requirements

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide comprehensive psychological services, including assessments, interventions, and consultation
  • Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development through direct and indirect services
  • Conduct individual evaluations and contribute to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to promote a positive school climate
  • Participate in team meetings, eligibility determinations, and crisis response as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to legal and ethical standards
  • Adapt to the evolving needs of the school and follow additional direction from the director
